About CMAMAS

The Canadian Modeling Association for Meccano & Allied Systems (CMAMAS) is a group of people who are enthusiasts of metal modeling systems.

The most important and longest-lasting system is Meccano, but there are many similar systems, many no longer being manufactured. Other systems include – but are not limited to – Gilbert Erector, Marklin, Merkur, Stokys, TemSi, and SteelTec.

We produce a regular newsletter, Canadian MeccaNotes, written and produced by Meccano enthusiasts for Meccano enthusiasts. In addition, we exhibit models at numerous events.

Whether you’ve just discovered Meccano, have been in the hobby all your life, or are somewhere in-between, you are very welcome to join our association!
