CMAMAS - Alberta Hobby Shows 1995-97

Presented on this page are some of the Alberta Meccanomen who often attend hobby shows and other venues with Meccano and allied systems displays.

The Red Deer Hobby Show is the site of many of our exhibitions although exhibitions have also been held in Edmonton and Calgary.

Bill Cook's "Peanut Machine". He's had his Peanut Machine out at several exhibitions, tending its controls and vending peanuts and candy to hordes of kids. 5 cents gave all of the kids a chance to snag peanuts, gum or candy with the crane grab.

The original building instructions were published as Constructorproject 57 "The Crane Game" by Brett Gooden in the North Midland's Meccano Guild Newsmag November 1991 issue 61.

The "Coin-in-the-Slot-Controller" instructions, also by Brett Gooden, were in the North Midland's Meccano Guild Newsmag July 1990 issue 57.
